Day Five: Underground Cinema in 39 Countries

Five days into the Founding Edition, films made without permission, without budget and without a filter are being watched in thirty-nine countries on five continents — from Spain and Germany to the United States, South Korea and Brazil.

The filmmakers are bringing their own audiences: family, classmates from film school, the people of their home towns. Every night, new viewers join the festival.

The first Audience Reach Laurel has been earned — by a film that brought a hundred viewers to its screen.

The race for the Audience Awards is on. Every ticket is one vote, and until the screening closes you can move it. Every vote can still change the winner.
