The same thing that worked for the seventy-five filmmakers works for the audience: one private link, sent to your inbox, that opens the whole festival.
- 1
Take a ticket
A single film, a day, a section, or the whole programme. Pick what suits — every ticket carries a vote for the Audience Award.
- 2
The link arrives
Usually within a minute of paying. It is yours alone, works on any device, and stays valid for the whole screening week.
- 3
Watch, then vote
Phone, laptop, tablet, television — anything with a browser. Pause and come back; the festival waits for you until the 28th.
75 films, 7 sections
Selected from open submissions for the Founding Edition. Every film screens for the full eight nights — nothing clashes, so nothing has to be missed.
The full line-up, with synopses and credits, is on the line-up page.
The audience is part of the jury
Two decisions run side by side through the screening week, and neither one is decided in a back room.
The Audience Award
Every screening ticket carries one vote. Cast it for the film you want to win, and move it as often as you like until the screening closes on 28 September 2026. Free access — filmmakers, their guests, press — watches but does not vote, so the award belongs to the audience that turned up for it.
The Jury Awards
An invited jury watches the full programme ahead of the public opening and scores every film. Their awards are announced at the closing night in Berlin, alongside the audience result.
The practical part
- When exactly?
- From 21 September 2026 at 00:00 Berlin time until 28 September 2026 at 23:59 Berlin time. Every film is available for the whole window.
- What do I need?
- A browser and an internet connection. Nothing to install, no account to create, no password to remember.
- Can I watch on my television?
- Yes — open the link in the television's browser, or cast the tab from a laptop or phone.
- What about subtitles?
- Films not in English carry English subtitles, burned into the picture by the filmmaker.
- I lost my link.
- Type the email address you bought with on the access page and it is sent again straight away.
- Is the whole programme ready?
- A handful of films are still arriving from their makers and are marked coming soon in the programme. They appear as soon as the file lands, at no extra cost to anyone holding a ticket.
