One Ticket, One Vote: How the Audience Awards Work

Six awards at the Founding Edition belong to the audience alone: the most-voted film in each of the four strands — Feature, Documentary, Short and New Forms — the Audience Choice Top 10, and the Audience Reach Laurel, earned by any film watched by a hundred people or more.

The rule is simple: every ticket is one vote. You cast it on your watch page, and until the screening closes you can take it back and give it to another film.

A single-film ticket is valid for 24 hours from the moment you first press play. A Festival Pass and a strand box run for the whole screening.

The jury awards are separate. No ticket, and no number of tickets, moves a jury decision.
