The Founding Edition Is Open

From today, seventy-five films from thirty-one countries are streaming at the online screening of the Berlin International Underground Film Festival.

A year ago this festival was an idea. Today it has its own screening platform — and seventy-five filmmakers who are its founders.

Underground cinema — made without permission, without budget, without a filter — has a home of its own from today.

Every ticket is a vote for the Audience Awards. The winners are announced at the closing night in Berlin.
