Tickets Are Open: 75 Films, Eight Nights, Anywhere

Thirteen days from now, the Founding Edition of the Berlin International Underground Film Festival opens online. Seventy-five films, from thirty-one countries, screening for eight nights to anyone with an internet connection.

Here is how it works. You buy a ticket, a private link arrives in your inbox, and from 21 September that link opens the films you paid for — as often as you like, on any device, at any hour, until the screening closes on 28 September. No account, no app, no timetable.

Three ways in: a single film for €4.99, a whole strand (Feature, Documentary, Short or New Forms) from €15, or the Festival Pass — all seventy-five films — for €39.

Every ticket comes with a vote. Six Audience Awards are decided only by the people who watched: one per strand, the Audience Choice Top 10, and the Audience Reach Laurel for any film that gathers a hundred viewers. One person, one vote, however many tickets you hold.
