About the film
"D M T women medicine” is a short documentary film that immerses us in the process of xhanga preparation and ritual. We accompany Tiziana, a woman deeply connected to the power plants, as she shares her experience and wisdom. Víctor Jaramillo Arias
Victor Jaramillo is an audiovisual filmmaker from Bucaramanga, Santander (Colombia). He is the founder of the production company Cine Docs S.A.S. and the Contracultura Cultural Corporation. His projects reflect on community-based processes in Latin America and highlight the region's cultural issues.
He received a departmental short film production grant—"Cultura con Berraquera"—from the Government of Santander for the short film *La Sinfonía de Guanentá. Official Selection: 23rd BOGOSHORTS (Colombian Documentary Panorama); Madrid Indie Film Festival 2025; Santander International Independent Film Festival 2026; and National Documentary Short Film category at the San Jorge International Film Festival 2026.
