Just A Million Different Craters

Close to the frontlines of the Ukraine war, in the orange glow of street lamps, a garage can be found. Here, a group of ragtag mechanics have pulled together to create a haven, where fixing cars is only part of the job. The garage is a hub, supporting humanitarian efforts and taking care of war dogs, all while preparing vehicles to brave the icy Ukrainian winter. Following winding and unnamed roads, soldiers and medics reach the front, later returning with bullet holes down the sides of their cars. On their way back to the garage, one of hundreds of posters by the side of the road reminds of a lost friend. His yellow van stands in the garage, its owner Nick, a medic, died at the front. There is no time to dwell on death. After four years of war, the garage is fighting to remain an island of stability.
