Neural Notes

Neural Notes grows out of a simple question: what does the rhythm of our minds actually feel like? On screen, branching shapes move like synapses and dendrites, pulsing as if electrical signals were racing through them. I wasn't after a scientific illustration, those connections become music instead. Every impulse turns into a note, the pulses set the rhythm, and the visual patterns shifting over time trace out harmonies that evolve right along with them. Beyond the biology, the piece looks at thought as an open network, a living system, always in motion, where ideas and memories quietly reorganize themselves. It's a way of tracing those invisible ties that shape, without us really noticing, how we see the world. With Neural Notes I wanted to give this inner activity a body: to let sound and image breathe together, so we can just sit and watch a thought take shape.
