Defiant Cinema Finds Its Home: Brotfabrik Berlin to Host Final BIUFF Screening

The Berlin International Underground Film Festival (BIUFF) proudly announces that it has selected the historic and independent cinema, Brotfabrik, as the venue for its physical event and special screening of selected works from its inaugural edition.

In a world where glitzy multiplexes are dominated by commercial films, BIUFF sought a place where the spirit of independent cinema flows through its walls. Brotfabrik, as one of Berlin's key cultural and alternative hubs, is exactly the sanctuary that our "4U" philosophy (Uncensored, Uncompromising, Unconventional, Unbound) demanded.

This special event will take place on December 27, 2025, from 15:00 to 17:30. During this time, a selection of the most audacious works submitted to the festival will come to life on the big screen of this cinema, giving Berlin audiences the chance to see cinema that cannot be found elsewhere.

Amir Morsali, the festival's founder, stated: "We didn't want to screen underground films in a space that doesn't belong to them. Brotfabrik, with its rich history of supporting independent art, is the best place for our filmmakers' voices to resonate."
