Sabela Losada Cortizas is a Spanish artist who investigates and captures in her multi-format works (writing, video, sculpture) the links between pain, resistance, rupture and exile from a multi-situated feminist perspective. As an expert in gender violence, she has developed a pioneering project based on mutual support between different women (mothers, old women, teenagers, disabled women and/or migrants) who face violence in rural areas. The experience is captured in his first documentary.

Four years ago I promoted a mutual support group for women -like me- who had suffered abuse and since the first day we created a very special bond. Therefore, the death of two of our younger girls shattered us, and we decided that their stories should not be forgotten. In this documentary, the cameras enter our private space for the first time and I was not sure what will happen: if they will dare to come and talk. It's not easy, I've never had a camera so close.
