About the film
Esmeralda is driving down the lonely road. It's intensely hot. Suddenly, a tire on his car goes flat. While waiting for the tow truck to arrive, he has a conversation with a person in the back seat. The ghosts of his past return. Esmeralda begins a forced introspection which leads her to emotional catharsis and a new understanding of herself. It's time to close the circle of your life.

His work in the documentary field has been equally successful, with notable productions such as *Flamenco Passion* and *Beauties of Spain* for Discovery Channel. Exploring new creative horizons, David Baquero ventured into fiction with *La última cita*, opening a new chapter in his career that continued with *El Purgatorio*. *Fuck Off* marks his consolidation in the world of short films.

My intention in writing and directing *Fuck Off* is to talk about something that goes beyond the screen: the defense of equality, diversity, and respect for all identities, especially transgender identities. This is what *Fuck Off* is about. Cinema has always been a mirror of society, but it has also been a way of giving a voice to those who have been, and continue to be, silenced for being different. Every time a film tells the story of a trans person, we take a step towards acceptance and equality. Through our stories, we have a responsibility to make those differences visible. We must continue to challenge established norms and break down stigmas. Cinema is not only a means of entertainment, but also a way to educate, to provoke reflection, And let us not forget: to some extent, we are all different.
