About the film
Welcome To Ninguna Parte is a cinematic narrative music video that follows Nadia, a young woman struggling with a precarious reality. After receiving another job rejection, she crosses through her bedroom window, escaping into a parallel universe of ruins, landscapes and alienated figures trapped in undervalued work.
Unable to connect with them and overwhelmed by anxiety and loneliness, Nadia attempts to return home, only to find herself in darkness: “Ninguna Parte” (“Nowhere”). There, Hécate, a figure who communicates through contemporary dance, appears and guides her towards a dreamlike, surreal and psychedelic rave.
Among music, movement and community, Nadia encounters the same people she saw before, now liberated from their uniforms and connected through a shared space of freedom and belonging. The video explores youth precarity, the need to escape overwhelming realities, and the transformative power of underground techno culture as a space for connection, tolerance and liberation.

BBYFRZ (Andrea Barrera Rodríguez) is a filmmaker who has been closely connected to rave culture for many years. A strong advocate for the underground in all its forms, BBYFRZ sees her projects—both music videos and documentaries—as tools for social and cultural expression. Her work focuses on narratives that strengthen a sense of community and shed light on social injustices, using a cinematic language with a strong critical, artistic and reflective edge.
