Pooyan Ranjbar
Pooyan Ranjbar (b. 1990, Shiraz) is an Iranian cinematographer, editor, and director. He began his filmmaking journey in 2011 through the Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS). With four international festival wins to his credit, Ranjbar has worked as a cinematographer on projects including Ebrahim (2016), Redhead (2017), Great Dive (2021), and Shelter (2025). His hands-on background behind the camera directly shapes his directorial work, relying on precise visual structure, framing, and pacing for independent short cinema.
