About the film
It's a half documentary half biopic about a folk punk band called "Boggin Leprechaun" which existed until 2015. We talk to 5 of the band's 6 members and relieve their story and emotions—including lots of scenes with actors, which is why it's not a traditional documentary. All of the band's studio-released songs are presented via snippets, each one with its unique micro music video.

Yevgenii Zhitnikov
Yevgenii Zhitnikov was born in Makiivka, Ukraine, and now lives in Kharkiv. There he became a cinematographist, but right now draws for a living, while making documentaries is not his full-time job. "Boggin Leprechaun" is his fourth full, "serious" documentary.

For me this film is mostly about cool stuff happened in the past and now being slowly forgotten. That is not limited to this actual band called Boggin Leprechaun, that's more personal than that.
